Medicare Advantage (Part C)

Medicare Advantage plans combine your Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical) coverage into one plan from a private carrier — often with prescription drug coverage and extras like dental, vision, hearing, and fitness benefits built in, frequently at a low or $0 monthly premium.

Networks and benefits vary a lot from plan to plan. We compare the Advantage plans available in Summit County, check that your doctors and hospitals are in network, and make sure your prescriptions are on the plan's drug list before you enroll.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Medicare Supplement plans work alongside Original Medicare to help pay the deductibles, copays, and coinsurance Medicare doesn't cover. You can see any doctor in the country who accepts Medicare — no networks, no referrals.

Supplement plans are standardized by letter (Plan G, Plan N, and so on), so the same coverage can come at very different prices depending on the carrier. That's exactly where an independent agency earns its keep: we compare rates across carriers for the identical benefits.

Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)

If you stay with Original Medicare (with or without a Supplement), you'll want a standalone Part D plan for your prescriptions — and enrolling late can mean a lifelong penalty.

The "best" Part D plan depends entirely on your medication list and your pharmacy. We run your exact prescriptions through the available plans each year and show you the true annual cost — premium, deductible, and copays combined — not just the sticker price.

Turning 65 / New to Medicare

Your Initial Enrollment Period spans seven months around your 65th birthday — and the choices you make then can affect your coverage and costs for years. The mail pile of plan offers doesn't make it any easier.

Sit down with a local licensed agent who will explain Parts A, B, C, and D in plain English, help you avoid late-enrollment penalties, and walk you through enrollment step by step. Whether you're retiring or still working past 65, we'll map out what applies to you.

Annual Plan Review

Plans change every year — premiums, drug lists, networks, and benefits all get reshuffled. The plan that fit you perfectly last year may not be the best fit this year.

Every fall, during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7), we review your coverage against what's new and tell you honestly whether to stay put or switch. Most of our clients' reviews take one short visit or phone call.
